New rescue truck arrives for Hillside firefighters

Hillside firefighters have a reason to celebrate as Station 3 welcomes a brand-new rescue truck this week. In keeping with tradition, crews pushed the truck into the hall—a practice dating back to the era of horse-drawn fire wagons.
Now fully stationed, firefighters are working to equip the truck and ensure it’s ready for service. The department is thanking everyone who helped make the addition possible, calling it a big step forward for community safety.
