Dwight Beach home to second chain saw wood sculpture
Lake of Bays Twp. advises that the Dwight Beach now features two stunning chainsaw carvings by world-class artist Jake Rhodes of Northern Rhodes Artistry in Wood.
The first sculpture, a 12-foot-tall northern pike leaping from the water, and the second, depicting a beaver gnawing a birch tree with a raccoon and woodpecker, are crafted from eastern white pines felled last year. Rhodes recently won first place at the 2024 U.S. Open Chainsaw Sculpture Championship.
The municipality is inviting residents and visitors to check out the creations in person at the Dwight Beach.
