Home destroyed by fire

Muskoka Lakes Firefighters from Windermere/Raymond, Port Carling, Minett, & Milford Bay stations were summoned at 5:15 am on Sunday to a structure Fire on Windermere Road.
Using firefighting foam, crews worked until 3 pm to control the stubborn blaze.
The Fire Dept. reports two structures on the property were saved, however a large single story residence was destroyed by a well seated fire.
The cause of the fire is linked to a downed power line found at the rear of the property.
One firefighter was injured fighting the fire, no occupants of the home were injured.
