House fire deemed suspicious

The Muskoka Crime Unit and Bracebridge OPP are investigating a fire in Muskoka Lakes Township. Emergency responders were called to Elizabeth Street in Torrance at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, after a resident reported their neighbour’s house was fully engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, no one was inside at the time, but police are treating the fire as suspicious, and the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information or video footage is urged to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers.
