Huntsville Lifts Significant Weather Event Declaration
On Friday, the Town of Huntsville has lifted its Significant Weather Event declaration.
The declaration was first issued on February 16 due to a winter storm that brought 40 to 50 cm of snow and hazardous road and sidewalk conditions.
A “Significant Weather Event” is defined as an approaching or occurring weather hazard with the potential to pose a significant danger to residents and standard maintenance levels of service may be impacted.
Residents are advised that regular service levels have now resumed.
