MAHC submits proposal to the Ministry of Health
Yesterday, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) announced they have submitted its Stage 1.3 Proposal to the Ontario Ministry of Health for the redevelopment of its hospital facilities in Huntsville and Bracebridge.
The MAHC says the proposal includes detailed project plans for modernized facilities, updated cost estimates, and input from the community.
MAHC's CEO, Cheryl Harrison, emphasized that the goal is to transform care delivery and create healing environments. The project aims to expand capacity, improve emergency services, and enhance patient care.
The next steps involve working with the Ministry as the project moves forward.
