Man Accused In Boy's Death In Court Next Week
A man accused in the death of 8-year-old Thomas Rancourt will be in an Oshawa court room next week.
38-year-old David Sillars of Etobicoke is facing criminal charges including impaired operation of a vessel causing death, operating a vessel with a blood-alcohol level over 80 milligrams causing death, criminal negligence causing death and dangerous operation causing death.
Thomas Rancourt drowned on the Muskoka River in Bracebridge when the canoe he was in, overturned and he went over High Falls in Bracebridge.
The trial is scheduled to start on October 15th in Oshawa.
