Night time work on Main Street East begins Monday

The Town of Huntsville says that starting Monday, Dufferin Construction will carry out essential overnight maintenance on Main Street in Huntsville as part of the Diggin’ Downtown project.
The town says the work, which includes pipe flushing and CCTV inspections, will occur on four nights the first week and two nights the following week, between River Road and Lorne Street.
Crews will work from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with some temporary noise and light disturbances expected.
The town has granted a noise by-law exemption for the work. Residents and visitors should anticipate temporary traffic controls, limited parking, and increased noise.
All local businesses will remain open, with access to parking lots maintained.
