No New COVID-19 Cases In Muskoka For The 21st Straight Day

The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit reported 4 new cases this afternoon, with no new cases in the Muskoka region.

The last case reported was in Huntsville on May 5th – a woman in her 90’s at Chartwell Muskoka Traditions, who was treated in hospital.  

In total Muskoka has had 18 cases with 17 reported as recovered and one death.

Meanwhile the province reported 287 new cases today, the lowest number of new cases in two weeks.  Twenty one people have died bringing the total to 2123 deaths.  According to the Ministry of Long Term Care, 1538 of those deaths occurred in long term care.
