Police Arrest Gravenhurst Man After Assault at Restaurant
Police have arrested a Gravenhurst man after he allegedly broke a window and assaulted a restaurant patron.
Police say the man, who had been issued a trespass notice for the business, tried to go into the restaurant. When asked to leave, they say he smashed a window and attacked a patron before running away.
30 year-old Travis Gostick of Gravenhurst faces a number of charges, including Assault with a Weapon, Mischief, Possession of Cocaine, and Failing to Comply with Probation.
Police say this is the second time he has been charged with assault in two weeks.
Gostick will appear in a Bracebridge Court today for a bail hearing.
