Police dealing with a rash of accidents due to weather

Bracebridge OPP has responded to 14 motor vehicle collisions since yesterday. Fortunately, none resulted in injuries, but most were preventable. Police are urging drivers to slow down and use caution during severe weather events.
Safety tips include: only driving if necessary, clearing all snow from your vehicle, giving yourself extra time, maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, using your vehicle’s full lighting system, topping up windshield washer fluid, and avoiding driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
