Police looking for suspicious man with a gun

Bracebridge OPP are investigating a report of a suspicious person in Gravenhurst, where a weapon may have been involved.
Police say that on Thursday, December 12, officers responded to a report that a person was seen standing in front of a residence on Pinegrove Street, with what appeared to be a long gun, possibly a rifle with a magazine, lying in the snow nearby.
While no threat to public safety has been identified, police have yet to locate the individual despite a search by the OPP K-9 unit and Emergency Response Team.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Bracebridge OPP.
