Schools Partner With Town Of Bracebridge To Improve Accessibility
Plans to provide increased accessibility at Bracebridge businesses will likely get a hand from Bracebridge high school students next fall.
The Town’s Accessibility Advisory committee recently delivered letters to both local high schools explaining a planned project to build access ramps at more than a dozen locations around town. Staff from both BMLSS and St. Dominic’s technical training programs responded to indicate interest in participating in the project for the fall term.
Councillors heard the fall timeline also gives Town staff time to expand the list beyond the current 14 locations, providing enough ramps for both schools to participate.
