Thousands without power this morning

There are still thousands of people without power this morning, following Friday’s snow storm. Hydro One says crews are out in full force, restoring power as quickly and safely as possible to customers.
They have mobilized crews from other parts of the province along with contractors to assist with restoration efforts as outages continue to occur from heavy snow causing tree limbs to come down on lines and equipment.
The utility says road closures remain a challenge to access the hardest hit areas, and we anticipate that some customers in the hardest hit areas will be without power overnight.
