Tow truck operator hit at accident scene

Police say Highway 11 North, just north of North Kahshe Lake Road in Gravenhurst, was closed for a collision investigation after a two-vehicle crash yesterday.
Bracebridge OPP responded at 7:45 p.m., and while clearing the scene, a transport truck struck one of the police vehicles, though officers were not inside and were unharmed.
A tow truck operator was taken to hospital with injuries.
The original collision did not result in injuries and the highway re-opened at 2am.
