Walk A Mile fundraiser returns to Bracebridge on Sunday

The ninth annual "Walk a Mile in Their Shoes" fundraiser takes place this Sunday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Bracebridge.
Organized by YWCA Muskoka and Muskoka Pride, the event raises awareness and funds for gender-based violence prevention.
The District of Muskoka declaring gender-based violence an epidemic in April and the YWCA is supporting 35 local survivors of gender-based violence.
The goal is to raise $25,000, with registration open at walkamilemuskoka.ca. All ages and genders are welcome; wear red and comfortable shoes!
