Water levels rising, with risk of flooding in Huntsville

Huntsville officials are keeping a close watch on water levels and ice conditions as the spring thaw continues.
The town says that following overnight rain, water levels remain high in Rivercove and downtown areas. Robert Road is experiencing flooding, and more road closures are possible as water moves through the area.
Frozen culverts may also contribute to localized flooding.
Residents are urged to stay aware, obey road closure signs, and keep children and pets away from fast-moving water and unstable banks.
