Active Living Centre gets additional funding from province
The province is investing over $3.5 million in 316 Seniors Active Living Centre programs, with local facilities benefiting from the funding.
The Huntsville Active Living Centre, along with the District of Muskoka and the Bracebridge Senior Citizens Centennial Club, will each receive $12,500.
This marks the fourth and final quarterly installment of the fiscal year, supporting both in-person and virtual programs designed to keep older adults healthy, active, and connected.
Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, Raymond Cho, announced an increased investment this year, adding nearly $1 million and expanding the program by 100 additional centres across the province.
