Aitchison reacts to Trudeau's resignation
In a statement reacting to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's forthcoming departure, Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Scott Aitchison says that while many Canadians may feel relief, the real issues remain unchanged.
Aitchison criticized the Liberal government for its role in increasing the carbon tax, skyrocketing housing prices, and running a $62 billion deficit.
He emphasized that only Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party, which he represents, can fix these problems by cutting taxes, addressing the housing crisis, and restoring fiscal responsibility.
Aitchison said a Conservative government would prioritize affordable living, safe streets, and a stronger economy for Canadians.
