Bracebridge officially opens new community centre
Yesterday, Bracebridge celebrated the grand opening of the new Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, drawing nearly 200 attendees, including community members and sponsors. The new facility aims to enhance health and wellness by providing improved recreational and cultural spaces.
Key speakers, including Mayor Rick Maloney and MPP Graydon Smith, emphasized the facility's significance as a long-awaited investment in Bracebridge's future. The centre boasts state-of-the-art features for various activities, from sports to community events.
Attendees toured the facility, enjoyed family-friendly activities, and attended a reception in the Muskoka Leon’s Auditorium. The town says that with over $4 million in contributions from local sponsors, the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre promises to enrich the community's quality of life for years to come.
