The OPP are offering tips to protect your holiday packages from "porch pirates." Police say that with parcels arriving at homes daily, thieves are on the lookout for unattended deliveries.
To avoid becoming a victim, OPP suggests requesting signature delivery, shipping to a trusted neighbor, or having packages sent to work or a secure pickup location.
Tracking your deliveries and installing video cameras can also help.
If your package is stolen, report it to local police and the shipping company.
