District State Of Emergency remains in effect

The District of Muskoka remains under a state of emergency as cleanup and restoration efforts continue in the hardest-hit areas, including Georgian Bay, Muskoka Lakes, Gravenhurst, and Bracebridge.
Deputy Chair Terry Glover says the priority is ensuring residents are supported while crews restore infrastructure. The declaration allows Muskoka to request provincial aid for cleanup and safety efforts.
Road closures continue to affect curbside collection and transit, while some children’s and seniors’ programs remain closed.
