Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, March 10, so don't forget to turn your clocks an hour ahead before you go to bed on Saturday.

Daylight saving time is designed to provide an extra hour of evening sunlight, and it will stay in effect for eight months until November 3rd, when daylight saving time ends for the year.
