Gravenhurst Winter Carnival Promises Fun For The Whole Family
The Gravenhurst Winter Carnival got underway last night with Ignite – a speaker series at the Opera House. But organizers say that is just the beginning.
The carnival will be running today through the weekend and coming to a finale on Monday.
Events include the Heritage Sightseeing tours, Skokie’s Pizza Party, Arm wrestling competitions, pancake breakfasts, snow sculptures, puddle jumping and more.
On Saturday, Muskoka Road North closes to traffic accommodate all the events which include bed races, nail driving and log sawing competitions.
There’s an all you can eat poutine bar, chicken wing eating contests and a demolition derby.
