Huntsville Hospital to undergo 4 hour power outage on Wednesday

The Huntsville District Memorial Hospital is set to undergo a planned four-hour outage of its emergency backup power system Wednesday night to connect the under-construction MRI Suite to the electrical supply.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and end by midnight, during which time much of the hospital’s critical equipment will be offline.
No scheduled surgeries, outpatient tests, or treatments will take place, and obstetrical deliveries will be redirected to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge.
