Huntsville OPP respond to 10 minor collisions on the weekend of the first snowfall
The Huntsville OPP responded to 10 minor collisions this past weekend following the first major snowfall of 2024.
Between 5 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Monday, officers handled these incidents on Huntsville and Lake of Bays roadways. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The OPP say that with near-freezing temperatures and heavy snow, winter driving can be a challenge. They remind motorists to prepare by checking vehicle maintenance, stocking a winter survival kit, and driving cautiously to match road conditions.
