Local firefighters helping battle the flames in LA
A team of firefighters from Lake of Bays, is in Malibu, California, to assist in battling wildfires. Firefighters Marshall Clarke, Kevin Sukhiani, and Station Chief Matt Young arrived yesterday to assist in the fight against the fierce fires.
Though their squad is small, they’re ready to make a significant impact in support of their American colleagues and the local residents.
To help cover their out-of-pocket expenses, they’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign, and any support is greatly appreciated. With pride in their Canadian roots, they emphasize the strength of Canada and the USA coming together in times of need.
