Man Arrested Was Wanted For 35 Break Ins

A man who was arrested in White River on September 20th, is facing a multitude of charges for 35 break-ins, including break ins in Orillia, Bracebridge and Huntsville.

Police says that on August 25th and August 26th, Caledon OPP responded to two break and enters that happened overnight at a business in the area of Highway 50 and McEwan Drive in Bolton.

Police say the same person was involved in 35  other break-ins at bank branches throughout Ontario including locations in Muskoka.

 A multijurisdictional search was started for 54 year old Shawn Chaulk of Mississauga.

On September 20th at 3:30 a.m., he was located at a hotel in White River, about 1000 km north of his original location.
