Man Faces Multiple Charges After Being Found Unresponsive In His Boat
Last Friday September 3, Police (OPP) received a call for a marine complaint on Lake Bernard in Sundridge.
OPP say an unresponsive man was observed on the water, on a small vessel. With the help of members of the public, Parry Sound EMS and police, the man was brought back to shore and taken to hospital with no injuries.
37 year old James Lee of Sundridge was charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol,
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand,
- 4 counts of Operation while prohibited under the criminal code, and
- Possession of a scheduled I substance - opioid
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Sundridge Court on October 14th.
