New Food Bank opening in Huntsville
A new community support centre is coming to downtown Huntsville. The Corner Lighthouse, set to open in April, will serve as both a food bank and community hub, run entirely by volunteers.
The organization says over 80% of donations will go directly to food and services, helping families in need with nutritious meals, meal planning, and essential support programs. Beyond food, they aim to provide emotional and spiritual guidance and essential services to help people find long-term stability.
Lynne Doyle, General Manager with The Lighhouse says that through access to nutritious food, meal planning, and educational programs, they're helping lift people up, not just get by."
