Officer charged with assault at Santa's Village

In Bracebridge, a 45-year-old woman has been charged with assault following an incident at a local amusement park.
Police say that on June 8th, the OPP were called to the park after a reported altercation between a youth and an adult female.
Heather Claridge, a provincial constable with 21 years of service, was arrested on September 4th. Claridge, who was off duty and currently on unrelated leave, is set to appear in court on October 8th.
