Pair charged with violating release conditions
Huntsville OPP report that two people were arrested following a traffic stop on Forbes Hill Drive in Huntsville last Thursday.
Police conducted the stop to check the driver’s sobriety but discovered a prohibited weapon and determined the vehicle's occupants were under conditions not to be around each other after a drug-related occurrence earlier in the day.
36-year-old Kyle Chapman, of Armour Township, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, failure to comply with an undertaking, and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
32-year-old Kristen Cronkright, of Huntsville, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and failure to comply with an undertaking.
She was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear before in court on March 25.
OPP confirm this was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to public safety.
