Schools closed on Monday

The Trillium Lakelands District School Board is closing all schools, education centres, and child care centres on Monday, March 31, due to the impacts of this weekend’s ice storm. Hazardous road conditions, power outages, and network disruptions have made it unsafe to open schools, including the Virtual Learning Centre.
For safety reasons, there will be no online learning. Families are encouraged to use the day for catching up on schoolwork, playing board games, or reading.
The school board appreciates the community’s understanding and is notifying families now to allow time for alternative arrangements. Anyone with questions is advised to contact their child’s school.
