Sledder air lifted after going thru the ice

A snowmobiler was rescued after falling through the ice on Miskwabi Lake near Haliburton on Saturday.
OPP, Fire, and EMS responded to multiple calls of a person yelling for help from the water. Firefighters located the victim in open water and pulled them to safety.
The individual was suffering from hypothermia and was transported to the hospital, later being transferred to a Toronto trauma center for further treatment.
The OPP is warning residents and visitors to stay off area ice surfaces due to abnormal weather conditions and unsafe ice.
