23-year-old loses life after being thrown from sea-doo

Bracebridge OPP are investigating an incident that took place on Indian River just west of Mirror Lake in Muskoka Lakes on Saturday.
Police responded and emergency services responded to an address on Bailey Street in Port Carling at 6:00 p.m, after reports of a young man operating a sea-doo who was ejected into the water and failed to resurface. A search commenced immediately and a 23-year-old male from Brampton was brought to shore.
Despite efforts, life-saving attempts were not successful.
Police urge vessel operators to wear life jackets and ensure you have necessary safety equipment onboard.
