Algonquin Family Health Team looking for sustainable funding for healthcare clinic
The Algonquin Family Health Team say they are actively pursuing improved funding to expand and permanently sustain services at Huntsville Health Care Clinic, located at The Annex, on Minerva Street East in Huntsville. The organization says growth will be based on funding allocation decisions, which are underway.
The organization says their goals are to reduce emergency department visits and provide comprehensive primary care to the community for those who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. However, the healthcare provider says it will not be taking on patients permanently.
