Armour Twp seeks input on backyard chickens

The Township of Armour is reaching out to gather input from the public regarding the potential for backyard chickens on properties smaller than 10 acres without the requirement of site plan control. This proposal excludes waterfront lots.
A consultation process has been initiated to gather feedback on the draft by-law, and aims to assess the practicality and desirability of permitting backyard chickens in residential areas, prioritizing the welfare of residents, animals, and the community as a whole.
