Driver arrested while turning themselves in on another charge

The Almaguin Highlands OPP arrested and charged a driver after they attended detachment for an unrelated investigation.
Police say that on Wednesday, May 29, a driver turned themselves into officers at the Detachment.
While speaking to the driver in relation to the original investigation, officers noted signs of impairment.
As a result of the subsequent investigation, a 40-year-old female from Armour Township was charged with:
- Operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
