Driver charged with impaired after cops receive multiple complaints

Multiple traffic complaints led to an impaired driving arrest in Perry Twp.
On Wednesday, around 11:30 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands OPP received reports of a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Highway 11.
After speaking with the driver, they determined he had been consuming alcohol. The driver, 46-year-old Anthony Zavaglia of Kapuskasing, was arrested, and his vehicle was towed and impounded.
Zavaglia faces multiple charges, including operation while impaired and driving with liquor readily available. He is set to appear in court on November 14 in Sundridge.
