Food in-security up 31% in Simcoe Muskoka
New data from Public Health Ontario reveals a troubling rise in household food insecurity.
In Simcoe Muskoka, food insecurity rates jumped to 31% in 2023, up from 19% in 2022 and above the provincial average of 24%.
