Four men fined after illegally hunting in Gravenhurst
Four men were fined a total of $16,000 for illegally hunting in Gravenhurst last November.
On July 19th, a court heard that on the evening of November 19, 2022, conservation officers were conducting a foot patrol in the vicinity of Coopers Falls Road near Gravenhurst.
Well after legal hunting time that night, the officers contacted Louis and Michael Diamandakos driving ATVs in possession of three harvested untagged deer and a black bear. Sandy and Eugene Gelsomino were located shortly after in the same area.
Wildlife, copied hunting tags and firearms were seized by conservation officers.
