Gravenhurst approves new Strategic Plan
Gravenhurst council will be directed by its new Strategic Plan for the next five years. Work on it began in March, with assistance from a Toronto-based consulting business. The strategic plan was accepted during a special meeting at the Centennial Centre on November 28.
Council, staff, and residents were invited to participate in the conversation, which resulted in the plan's three key pillars: community vibrancy, sustainable growth, and effective municipal services.
Scott Lucas, chief administrative officer for the Town of Gravenhurst says "This was a critical exercise for the council, staff, and residents. We were able to identify the areas we need to work on during this council term and beyond thanks to this effort," he said.
