Hunters Bay Radio donates $5,000 to Huntsville Hospital Foundation
On Thursday, July 27th, Hunters Bay Radio presented a cheque in the amount of $5,000 toward its Business Cares program.
Business Cares is a fundraising program run by the Huntsville Hospital Foundation which supports the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. Over 50 businesses have partnered with the foundation pledging $5000 per year for 5 years. The Bay 88.7 has completed one commitment and is now working to fulfill a second $25,000 pledge.
Besides the Business Cares program, the Foundation is holding its $10 million Focus on Imaging Campaign, updating X-Ray suites, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and other services. A new MRI suite is part of this program. Learn more at HuntsvilleHospitalFoundation.ca
Hunters Bay Radio, as a not for profit radio station, owned by the community regularly supports great causes and not for profits in the community, with donations and promotion to help them achieve their goals.
