Huntsville looking for input on building heights and density

The Town of Huntsville is launching a community survey to gather public feedback on what it considers the town's “Significant Views” in urban areas like the Urban Settlement Area and Hidden Valley.
The survey, running until November 22, aims to help the town set criteria for evaluating future development proposals involving increased height and density.
The town says that with growing housing demands, the municipality is working to balance affordable housing needs with preserving its natural beauty and Muskoka feel.
The public’s input will be used to shape new height and density guidelines for future development, and a public meeting will follow for further feedback.
