Huntsville O.P.P. apprehended individual behaving erratically with a weapon

The Huntsville O.P.P. responded to reports of an individual with a weapon in downtown Huntsville on Monday.
Police say that at around 1:00 p.m., officers arrived to find someone behaving erratically and allegedly possessing a knife.
To ensure safety, the area was contained, and local schools and the recreation centre went into a hold and secure.
Police say the individual was located and apprehended without incident, and police have confirmed there was no longer a threat to public safety.
