Lake of Bays moving ahead with expansion of Dwight Community Centre

The Township of Lake of Bays announced they are moving forward with a major renovation and expansion of the Dwight Community Centre and Library.
The municipality says the project will add 3,000 square feet of space, including new activity areas, accessible washrooms, a commercial kitchen, and a technology centre.
Enhancements to library services, a memory lab, and roof improvements are also part of the plan. Construction, led by Davicor Construction, is set to begin in early 2025 and is expected to be completed by early 2026.
