Lions Lookout closed next week while crews prune trees

The Town of Huntsville is advising residents and visitors that Lions Lookout will be closed from September 16-18 for tree pruning work.
The town says trees have overgrown the view and it’s time for pruning to open up the view of Huntsville’s Town-scape and Fairy Lake. Regular tree pruning is important in order to keep the view at Lions Lookout looking its best
The munipality notes that pruning will ensure the health and safety of both trees and onlookers by removing selected tree limbs, including dead and dying limbs.
