LOB seeks input on Community Improvement Plan
The Township of Lake of Bays is in the last stages of public consultation for the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and is looking for feedback on draft projects and concepts for the communities of Dwight, Hillside, Baysville, and Dorset.
Economic Development Officer Stephen Derraugh says "Whether it's adding a sidewalk on Main Street in Dorset or exploring the possibility of a splash pad at the Lake of Bays Community Centre Park, your input can help prioritize these initiatives."
The most recent survey, available at lakeofbays.on.ca/cip, draws on findings from the initial public engagement earlier this year. It focuses on business incentive priorities, early proposals for the four hamlets, and an open forum for new ideas.
The township is urging residents to participate in the poll and to forward the link to family and friends. The poll will be open until October 19th, and it will be the final public engagement before the draft Community Improvement Plan is made available for public review.
