Magnetawan gets EV Charging Station

Magnetawan has officially opened its first public Electric Vehicle charging station, thanks to Lakeland EV Charging.
Located at the Community Centre on Highway 520, the station offers both a rapid 180kW charger and a 30kW charger.
The 180kW charger can give EVs up to 100 km of range in just 10 minutes, while the 30kW option is perfect for longer stays.
The initiative is part of Magnetawan’s push for sustainable tourism and travel, benefiting both locals and visitors.
The project is funded in part by Natural Resources Canada's Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Program.
