MAHC enters clinical research partnership
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) has announced a new partnership with Local Education Groups to boost regional research.
The MAHC says that for over a decade, they have collaborated with education groups, contributing to over $1 million in research funding and expanding local physician researchers to more than 30.
Recent studies have addressed issues like hospital readmissions and patient care innovations. With eight new funded studies this year, MAHC's President Cheryl Harrison says the collaboration enhances physician education and patient care.
MAHC also supports local students through its summer research program, preparing future medical professionals.
